How to use
Type or paste the original on the left and the changed text on the right. Red and green marks appear in the editors as you type. Red means removed, green means added. Use Previous / Next change, or F8 and Shift+F8, to jump between change blocks. Download both sides as a zip after you edit.
FAQ
- Is my text uploaded?
- No. Comparison runs locally in the browser. The page does not send the text to a server.
- How do I read the colors?
- Red is only in the original. Green is only in the changed text. On a changed line, the specific words are marked red and green in the editors.
- Does it work with Chinese?
- Yes. Inside a changed line, the tool compares characters, so Chinese differences are highlighted even when there are no spaces.
- How do I jump between changes?
- Click Previous change or Next change. You can also press F8 for the next block and Shift+F8 for the previous one, even while typing. Consecutive changed lines count as one stop.
- Can I save the edited texts?
- Yes. Download both saves the current left and right editors as original.txt and changed.txt in a zip. Nothing is uploaded.
